Great service and great good. Not far from the high street. Breakfast are excellent, plenty of option. Service is top notch, very welcoming and happy to accommodate any changes needed to suit your taste. Decorations is very nice. Will definitely visit Ivy Brasserie again to try other item on the menu.

A perfect experience!
The place is very nicely decorated and feels inviting.
The menu is on the expensive side but has a lot of good choices (including vegetarian options) and the portions are quite large. I had the Milanese escalope, it was perfectly cooked and served with an amazing truffle sauce!
The extensive drink menu offers a wide variety of cocktails, wines, champagnes and non-alcoholic beverages. I recommend the violet and lavender cocktail which was sweet and refreshing.
Finally, they have a large desert selection. I had the chocolate bomb: vanilla ice-cream covered with a chocolate dome which they melt with hot caramel. It was delicious and very filling, I recommend sharing one.
Overall I had a great experience and would come again for a nice occasion.

Lovely time at the Ivy for my grandad’s 80th!
We had the private dining room and the service was exceptional! I’m not sure on the bartenders/waiters names but they were brilliant.
The food was generally really tasty, they had great vegan options and were very accommodating for food intolerances and allergies.

There's always something special about going to the Ivy. This visit was no different.
Whether it's the service, the delicious food, or the decor every time we've been it hits it's mark.
Coats collected at door, daughter welcomed and engaged by staff (it was half term). Both concierges had a chat with her making her feel very important!!
Food was delicious.
We took reccomendations, had arancini and fried courgette starters, then burger and fishcake, desert was creme brulee and the chocolate Ivy Bombe which my daughter loved to see melt!
Little one had Pasta, and the chocolate Sundae, she loved the Candyfloss and popping Candy!
She asked just yesterday could we go again, so gets her vote!!
A lovely experience, can't wait to do it again!

We had a lovely evening as we spent our valentine's dinner at The Ivy. We are lucky enough to celebrate our anniversary on Valentines and although we didn't opt in for the valentine's menu, we were treated with a complimentary rose for my partner and a delicious dessert for our special occasion. It would have been 5 star but for the moment where I was called back into the restaurant because they charged me the wrong amount and it needed rectifying.

We went as guests recently on at Saturday afternoon for lunch. It’s a lovely place to meet friends and enjoy a relaxed afternoon. We were looked after by good and very patient staff. Unfortunately, I didn’t think it appropriate to take foodie pictures, as I normally would, being someone’s guests, so no pictures sadly. Firstly, I would definitely recommend the kir Royal, although I think we had a few too many over our extended lunch, but they were so nice! The food was ok, it didn’t blow me away and the vegetarian and vegan options were a little boring I thought. Our friends recommend the Shepherd’s Pie, which looked nice and they enjoyed it. What I did love though was the sourdough bread, which was amazing. It was served as a whole round loaf and warm with gorgeous salty butter and olives, best thing ever. I must admit we did languish at our table chatting all afternoon; way over the time allotted and 5hrs later we were asked to vacate, although nobody was waiting for our table, but I suppose they wanted to relay for the evening. I love the decor of the Ivy, I’ve been to a few around the country and this one in Oxford is lovely. Thank you to the staff we had a lovely visit.

From the beginning when I first walked into the restaurant everything was spot on. The staff were very welcoming and the decorations were really nice. I only had the Sunday chicken roast as I had no time for starters and the chicken was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent.

This is a beautiful space and the host was welcoming despite our casual attire. The wait staff was extremely professional and reasonably attentive but also stuffy and somewhat uptight and snobby. The five of us each ordered starters, mains courses, and sides. Only one out of five of us enjoyed their dishes. The food was amazingly bland and the portions were slightly small. That goes for the starters, mains courses, and sides. Fwiw, they serve diet coke. I appreciate that they did not rush us out and only cleared the table after we had all finished our meals.
I can't imagine returning only because the food was so bland, especially for such an upscale place.

Reliable service and good quality food and drinks.
We visited the Ivy without a reservation; however, we were seated immediately.Greeted at the door by courteous staff. The staff here are well trained and very attentive. The head waiter made sure everything with our meal was ok and frequently asked if we had any needs.Food was served in a reasonable time.We ordered fish and chips, shepherd's pie, zucchini, truffle arancini, and a vegan burger.All good with food, fresh and hot.
Will be back next time in central Oxford.
There is a discretionary 12.5 percent service charge.

We had a Valentine's Menu in the evening with Chicken Milanese and steak.
The venue is gorgeous, the service was second to none but the food was nothing to write songs about. It was okay but not necessarily great :)

A good Ivy. The staff were very friendly and the food was mostly great. Obviously overpriced but that’s to be expected at an Ivy. Oddly empty and quiet which may have something to do with those prices, especially in a university city.
